Dr. Shadiya is a competent mental health professional and licensed counselor from the Malaysian Psychotherapy Association, her active involvement in community services and charity work not only reflects her ability as a member in her organization but also showcase her as a well-rounded and compassionate professional in her community who makes a meaningful impact in her field and in the lives of those she serves. She earned her PhD in Psychology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and has more than 20 years of working experience in mental health, counseling, and clinical psychology in helping individual overcome stress, depression and mental issue. Her experience as ethical advisor is helping individuals, organizations, and businesses make ethical decisions and navigate moral dilemmas. Dr. Shadiya provides guidance on ethical considerations and help clients align their actions and decisions with ethical principles and values. Thus, she managed to position herself in the national and international arena by functioning as a member of different associations such as the American Psychological Association APA, Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological& Environmental Engineering Society, American Association Of International Researchers, Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (MSCP), and Malaysia psychotherapy associations. Dr. Shadiya's achievements highlight her commitment to research excellence and her significant impact on her institution's academic standing. Her work is undoubtedly contributing to the advancement of knowledge and the development of her field. She has been a key player in 32 research projects, demonstrating her leadership and expertise in various research endeavors. Her involvement as both a main leader and a member indicates a diverse range of contributions to different projects. Currently, a member to two active grants; that is a testament to her ability to secure funding for research initiatives. The upcoming international grants—one focusing on Ethics in Artificial Intelligence in Malaysia's Healthcare System and another on the Impact of War on Mental Health from various institutions—further strengthen her track record of successful grant applications and hold significant potential to advance research and innovation. In addition, her contributions to consultancy work, specifically her involvement in two big national projects, demonstrate her dedication to advancing her institution's ranking. Her contribution to the "National Underground Utility Mapping Policy (Phase I)" project is very crucial, it contributes to her organization reputation and its role in addressing national infrastructure challenges. Indeed, Dr. Shadiya's involvement in the second project "Socioeconomic Impact of Smart Cadaster" suggests her forward-thinking approach to research and her commitment to addressing contemporary issues in management. This project could also have a positive impact to the country and to her organization, particularly in the field of policy and management research. Both of these consultancy projects align with Malaysia research goals and objectives, and indeed, Dr. Shadiya active participation in them reflects her dedication to enhancing the university's ranking and reputation through meaningful research and policy contributions. Dr. Shadiya's publication record is particularly impressive. With more than 135 indexed and non-indexed articles and proceedings, she has made a substantial contribution to the academic literature. These publications not only demonstrate her dedication to advancing knowledge but also contribute to her organization ranking and reputation in the academic world. Indeed, her role as a Managing Editor for the Journal of Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy (JOSTIP), and Editorial Board Of Peshawar Journal Of Psychology And Behavioral Science are clear demonstration of her strong managerial and leadership abilities in the academic publishing domain. Her recent appointment as Chief Editor for JOSTIP further solidifies her reputation as a capable manager. Dr. Shadiya’s role as the program coordinator for Master taught course in Science, Technology and Innovation Policy (MSTIP) from 2012 to 2023 is an important and highly commendable contribution to the nation building in the field of policy studies. Her responsibilities in this role include managing various aspects of the program, and her record reflects her dedication and effectiveness in curriculum development, quality assurance, administrative responsibilities, and student support.
